2020 hit, and I craved freedom. In May, I took a 3-month leave from work. With 15 years of braiding experience, I styled a friend’s hair and quickly grew a clientele via StyleSeat and Facebook groups. Noticing a common client issue, I researched, ordered samples, and started building.
